This is a method of Bone Mineral Density Assessment of the spine, hip and wrist to identity patients who are suffering from osteoporosis. Any patients who suffer from osteoporosis have greater risk of bone fracture. It also helps to make decision about hormone replacement therapy at menopause particularly in women. Early diagnosis could prevent further deterioration of such diseases through proper treatment.
